Look at the goodies I found

Gotta love a friend who calls when its time to clean out. We all have had those times of feeling cluttered.
Well my girlfriend called to share her prizes. First I have to mention when I first met Carolyn I knew we had a lot in common. We love to shop ALOT!! We love the Vintage Flea! We love to blog! Most of all we love our boys. Yep! She is a mom of all boys too.

Well a little angel friend brought me to her basement sale. I could have gone crazier, but I knew I had to find a place for all the goodies too.

As you can see. I found some GOODIES!! Well I love all of them and can't wait to find a home for them.

This little corner unit is too cute don't you think?

All things lighter and brighter

In between events, schedules and baseball I have still had the itch. The itch to make things a little more lighter and brighter.

After painting my dining room blue and my kitchen a beautiful barnwood I was not content with the flow of the rooms with the mustard color between the two.

So this week amongst the crazy baseball camp my boys were in and practice to get ready for there upcoming district tournament. Yep! You got it. We started painting the family room.

Covering the yellow Desert Camel was time consuming. It took 3 coats but I think the results were worth it.

Now are family room is so much more lighter and brighter. The color is called Queen Anne's Lace.

Have a Happy Monday!

Memorial Day 2010

And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free, and I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me and I'll proudly stand next to him to defend her still today, 'cuz there ain't no doubt I love this land, god bless the USA.

Simply done....

OK, things have just been on fast forward around here lately. I am done working for the summer and look forward to spending the time with my family in my home .

This morning I woke up feeling like its time to make things a little simpler on the home front to enjoy the summer.

So I will be spending the next week before the kids are officially on summer break to purge, organize, and simplify. Maybe even prepare for a garage sale. I know it sounds scary, but in desperate need of. This is what I found this morning while visiting one of my favorite blogs

Hope you have a fabulous Friday....

A few highlights

Today I spent the morning at my booth at the Vintage Flea. I have a few new favorites I wanted to highlight that I dropped off today. This amazing soup tureen was one of my finds this week (Ladle and all).

This is a cherub wall hanging perched in a vintage crock. Lately I have been seeing numbers used in decorating all over. This bean crock has a number 3 imprinted in it.

Meakin and Johnson Brothers cups.

Sitting on top of a pair of hull ramekins.

A recent find also was a set of 4 Au Gratin dishes.

A few shots of my booth after some fluffing.
