OK,During one of my many outings at the thrift stores I found these beauties. Well to someone else they might not have looked like much but to me they were 2 diamonds in the rough. This mirror I have held onto and held onto until first I had the time to paint and second had a spot for it. The little shelf unit was one of my more recent finds.
It took some primer and a coat of white semi-gloss paint and there it was. I found a perfect piece for my boys newly painted bathroom. The little tins I found at TJ-Maxx for just 3.99. Obviously someone else found #'s 1,2&3 but I won't complain I had to have them.
This is the boys bathroom pretty much completed except I haven't had a chance to paint the letter "M" white yet.
There's that gold mirror that was just waiting for a new coat of white paint. Transforming an old piece is much more exciting to me than just picking a new one up off the shelf.
What do you think?

It's all beautiful! I LOVE that mirror! And what a cute little shelf. I'm with you on transforming an old piece instead of buying new. So much more fun, plus there's history!
Nicely done! That shelf looks so fresh in white! Works great in the bathroom, too.
Great finds! I just love how you transformed them both - and I love those containers from TJMaxx - I might have to swing by mine this week! Thanks for linking up to Be Inspired today.
