Beginning to feel alot like Christmas...

I went up to my booth today to drop off a few new goodies I wanted to share with you that I have been working on.

Burlap Wine Bottle Gift Bags.

BELIEVE pillow with red ticking on back.

I brought some more ruffled paper garland.

I snapped a picture of the paper trees finished.

The place was buzzing with people.

Everyone seemed to be out enjoying the holiday weekend, I hope you are too.

Sneak Peak

OK, Tis' the season already in my house...
I finished putting up all 13 trees in my house and want to share the pictures....
Started taking pictures and wouldn't you know the battery died...
Though usually a simple fix, plug it in for an hour or so.
Well I seemed to have placed the charger somewhere else other than its regular drawer.
UGH!
This is what I did take a picture of though...

This tree is in my dining room. Crystal ornaments are from Target a few years ago. It's so sparkly in there..
So instead of being tooo frustrated
about the camera charger missing,
we will just call it a
SNEAK PEAK !

Kerri

Paper Christmas Tree

Most recently a friend and I were discussing more crafts with old books. This blog came up Urban Daisies. She had a tutorial on making Christmas trees with sheet music, so I had to try it out. I did end up making 3 of them and setting them on glass votive holders for pedestals. I just forgot to take another picture after. Ooops!

It sort of goes along with some other crafts I been making with old books.

We already pulled our Christmas stuff out last night and started so I better go get busy. My goal is to be done decorating by tonight. Lets see ??

GLOVE-LY

This has been one of the funnest projects I have done in a while.

I have taken these simple little gloves and transformed them.

It makes me want the winter to come sooner just to use them.

This pair turned out to be my favorite.

Aren't they GLOVE-LY!!

Sewing madness....

This past week I celebrated my birthday. Nothing outrageously crazy just a nice evening with all my boys. My husband made us dinner. When I say he made me dinner I mean he FRIED chicken. Yummy! Yes, it was delicious. The boys had basketball practice and then we had ice cream cake for desert. Anyways I got a special gift I have been wanting for some time.

A sewing machine.

(happy dance)

Well I have been sewing my little heart out. Get back into the swing of it. It is sort of one of those things like a bike, once you learn you never forget. This machine is so smooth, quiet and most of all NO knotting up everything. Its awesome. So here are some of the projects I've been working on.

Pillow inspired by Pottery Barn and by bestest friend

Inspired by Country Living....

Well, its been awhile since I have updated...

I went to the Country Living fair here in Atlanta. The fair has never been to Georgia so we jumped at the chance to go. There was so much inspiration there. This was one of the ideas I had to try.

Yep.. Paper chains.
What a simply traditional idea made with old books. So I got to work. My children said "Hey I've made those before!"

Another inspiration from Country Living....
I'm sure this issue of Country Living looks familiar. It is the current November 2010. Well that little crow on the cover caught my eye. He just screams FALL to me. Well I have to admit I have never heard of a pie bird before I read this issue. There are all kinds of them though. Well look what a little angel found in a booth at the Flea across from mine Yep! isn't he AWESOME!

I guess its time to make an apple pie. Maybe?

Blessings,
Kerri
